The amount of fencing that you will need to create a cat-safe enclosure will depend on the size of the enclosure you’d like to create, or the length of your existing fence. We recommend measuring the perimeter of your proposed enclosure to get an idea of the total length of fencing you need.

Kits are offered in various lengths (in increments of 50 ft) and should correspond to the total length of fencing you need to cover. Materials included with kits are based on averages, so depending on the specific configuration of your yard, existing fence, or planned enclosure you may require more or less material than what is included with the kit. We generally recommend ordering about 10% more than what you think you need.
