How does the Dig-Proof Barrier Kit attach to vinyl fences?Updated 2 months ago
Our Dig-Proof Barrier Kit can be installed on a vinyl fence. Typically, something needs to be installed along the perimeter of the fence for the barrier wire to secure to. We offer a PVC/Vinyl Wall Kit that can be used for this purpose:

The kit includes a band of nylon that can be woven through the top edge of the mesh then secured to the surface of the fence (small self-tapping screws provided for this purpose). However, if you have a particularly strong, persistent dog that may try to pull the wire away from the fence/ground then you may find that using self-tapping screws with washers will provide a stronger hold. The washer can be used along with the self-tapping screws to "pinch" the mesh between the washer and the surface of the fence.
As a note, when securing to vinyl it is recommended that you pre-drill pilot holes in the locations where screws will be fastened to prevent any cracking of the vinyl itself.
