How do I work around slopes or hills?Updated 6 months ago

Our Freestanding Cat Fence Enclosure System can be installed on a slope with a couple of minor installation adjustments. We recommend that a post is set at each change in slope, so if your slope is relatively consistent, you'll have to set one post at the top and another at the bottom. Then, additional posts can be set in between those "ends" at the standard spacing of no more than 14' apart. If there are multiple changes in slope, then a post should be set at each slope change.

After all the posts are set, you will install the mesh fence material. On the sloped sections, you want to run the mesh at the same angle in between those "end" posts. This means that you will have some extra waste to cut off the roll:

The Existing Fence Conversion Systems can also be installed along sloped sections, and if you have multiple changes in slope each section should be treated individually - just like with the Freestanding System.

The important thing with slopes is to make sure you are maintaining proper height. The finished height of the Purrfect Fence should be at least 6 feet (measured from the tip of the arm down to the ground or leaping surface below).
