How deep do the sleeves that hold the posts go into the ground?Updated 6 months ago

The great thing about our system is that you do not need to dig post holes or pour concrete. The sleeves included in the Freestanding Fence kits hold the poles securely in the ground. They are 2 feet long and only about 1.5-2 inches is left above ground. They are simply driven into the ground with a sledgehammer and the provided "driving cap" (a tool that protects the top of the sleeve as you hammer). 

Ground sleeves are also great post anchors in areas that experience ground freeze. We have been using this system and sleeves for over a decade and have installations across the country from Alaska to Maine. In our experience, there is generally minimal movement (if any) as the ground freezes due to the slim profile and smooth surface of the sleeves.
