Can you describe the post installation where the fence meets a wall?Updated 6 months ago
Posts should be as close to the side of a building as possible to minimize any gaps where cats could squeeze through. Many homes feature an underground concrete footing that comes out away from the house wall which prevents ground sleeves from being driven into the ground tight against the house.
Our Freestanding Fence kits come with “post-to-wall” and “arm-to-wall” mounts that will allow you to secure end posts directly to the home or another structure (shed, garage, etc.). Please remember this is when abutting a wall not running alongside it. If the post is secured to the house rather than in a ground sleeve, you will notice the post will look "taller" than the others (due to it not being sunken into the ground). You may choose to cut the post shorter for a nice finished look.
