Can the fence be moved/relocated/reconfigured?Updated 2 months ago
Our Freestanding Fence System is designed to be semi-permanent. This means that it can stand as it's installed indefinitely or be disassembled and reinstalled at a different location or even in a different configuration in the same location. This is actually quite common. We have some of our first customers from 20 years ago that have moved with their Purrfect Fence many times as they relocated to new locations.
There are some of the components that may not relocate well, but those components are of the least costly items to replace.
- All of the metal components are reusable (Posts, Arms, Ground Sleeves, Stakes, etc.) These items make up about 70% of the cost of the system.
- The fencing mesh is mostly reusable (Upper Flexible Poly Mesh and Welded Wire Chew Guard). But since this material is cut to size during installation, if, when you move your configuration changes, then all of the fence pieces may not perfectly match your previous location which may result in the need for a small number of additional materials. This is very much site-dependent and most customers relocate without the need for additional fencing mesh.
- Ties are not reusable - these are the components that hold the fencing mesh to the posts and to each other. They are cut away during disassembly. However, these are inexpensive and easily replaced when needed.
